A tough, grinding 2-0 win on the road against Pimpama City Football Club !

It wasn’t our sharpest performance as we faced a stubborn mid-to-low block, but tactical adjustments at the break opened up the midfield and gave us control. We created plenty of chances in the second half and got the job done to secure another crucial three points on the road.

Back-to-back POTMhonours for Drew as our U23s sealed the league title with a 6-1 win over Pimpama City Football Club !

Drew put in another gutsy and intuitive shift in the middle, driving the tempo and pulling off an absolute stunner that’s a serious contender for Goal of the Season. His growing confidence and determination couldn’t be peaking at a better time as we head into finals. Phenomenal work, Drew! 👏🏼🏆🦅

A dominant 6-1 victory over Pimpama City Football Club sees our U23s officially wrap up the league title!

The boys were on fire from start to finish, showing just how far their belief and teamwork have come as they hit their peak at the perfect time. With training form translating straight onto the pitch, it was a complete team performance right on cue for finals footy! 💪🏼🏆

Everyone at Northern Rivers Football wishes Ella Swift the very best as she begins an exciting new chapter at Barton Community College in Great Bend, Kansas, USA.

Ella has been part of our club since she was just 10 years old, travelling from Maclean two or three times every week for training and games. That level of commitment has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Throughout her time with NRF, Ella has collected countless awards, trained alongside boys and regularly tested herself against boys’ teams. She has continually embraced every challenge and opportunity to improve.

More importantly, Ella is a wonderful leader, a valued teammate and an even better human being. Her dedication, resilience and character have made a lasting impression on everyone at our club.

After taking part in the Dallas Cup Tour with Green Room Futures, Ella has now earned an incredible opportunity to continue her football and education in the United States.

We couldn’t be prouder of you, Ella. Enjoy every moment, embrace the challenge and show them what you can do! ❤️🖤

A massive shift from Evie in a tough away battle against Broadbeach!

Despite a difficult afternoon where things didn’t go our way, Evie never stopped working, putting in a tireless performance and fighting for every ball until the final whistle. Outstanding work rate and resilience under pressure. Great effort, Evie! 👏🏼🔴

A tough afternoon away at BROADBEACH UNITED SC , falling 5-1 in Round 20.

Up against it from the start with a depleted squad and last-minute player absences. Despite the tough circumstances, the girls dug deep, acknowledged where we can improve, and are ready to shake it off and bounce back.
