Fun Days on a Sunday is a little bit different this round – we’re happening on Saturday instead: Saturday 5 September, 11am–3pm, at the Velo.

This means people who normally train on Sundays, can now finally play a round with us. A weekend of derby!

Fun Days Round 1 is done and the results were impressive: the highest team scores in Fun Days history!

Fun, Forrest, Fun! TIED against Funder Downunder at 356–356. FFF won by 3 points in an Overtime Jam.

Silence of the Jambs (276) just defeated We Will, We Will, Block You (257) by 19 points.

They were close games but, unlike 'normal derby’, this year’s Fun Days is NOT decided by how many games you win. The Tournament Champion is the team that scores the most points accumulated over all games at all three rounds.

At next round (Saturday 5 September) the teams will play a new opponent and continue to add points to their Round 1 scores.

Want to try skating before taking the plunge and getting your own? Or have skates you're looking to get up and rolling with? Level 1 is our non-contact skate school, where we set you up with our experienced trainers and a safe place to practice getting confident to hit the streets, park, or track.

Already got some skate experience and looking to level up? Our Level 2 Derby Fundamentals expands on our skate school basics and gets you contact ready - both the skate and strength skills, but also safety and gameplay to get you ready for full contact training and bouts.
