r clients and online community on all of our blogs, and social media sites, including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google+. With that in mind, we will endeavour to ensure that you stay true to the topic of discussion and that your participation is courteous and inoffensive. A good rule of thumb to use when posting anything online is: if you wouldn’t say it in a professional situation in real life, then it’s probably best not to post it online. Offensive or inappropriate posts will be removed. We also reserve the right to remove, block or ban any person who posts, or continues to post any material that we consider offensive. Any of the information that is posted on any of our blogs and social media platforms by members of the public, reflects the personal opinions of our online community only, and should not be considered in any way as the opinion, advice, or information from Byron Shire Youth Council. Please also remember that whatever you post online is immediately viewable by potentially millions of people, so it’s wise to be careful about disclosing personal information about yourself or someone else, such as phone numbers, addresses, current location or financial information. You should also be careful when posting photographs or videos that they do not show personal information, either in the foreground or in the background.
