A new season means fresh goals, familiar faces, new teammates, early morning paddles, plenty of laughs, and unforgettable moments both on and off the water.

🐉 Celebrating Our Inaugural Life Member – Heather 🐉

Today, Invictus Dragon Boat Club had the honour of awarding Life Membership to our inaugural President and founding member, Heather.

Since helping establish Invictus in 2020, Heather has been the driving force behind so much of what makes our club what it is today. From developing our governance and membership systems to leading the club through its formative years, her dedication, leadership and countless hours behind the scenes have built the strong foundations we all enjoy today.

Heather's impact extends far beyond Invictus, continuing to serve the wider dragon boating community as a sweep, DBACT Events Manager and mentor to race officials. Her passion for the sport and commitment to others is truly inspiring.

Life Membership is the highest honour our club can bestow, recognising exceptional service and lasting contribution. As our inaugural Life Member, Heather has set the benchmark for what it means to lead with generosity, humility and heart.

Heather, thank you for believing in Invictus before it even existed, for your unwavering commitment, and for helping create the incredible community we are proud to call our club.
