Judo Australia Judo Australia (JA) is the national sporting organisation responsible for the management, development and promotion of Judo in Australia.

Judo Australia is a member of the International Judo Federation, the Oceania Judo Union and the Australian Olympic Committee. Sport Australia, the Australian Institute of Sport and Commonwealth Games Australia are the organisation's key funding partners. Judo Australia comprises eight Member States and over 200 affiliated clubs nationally. Judo Australia's 3 strategic pillars are:

LOOKING TO TRAIN with Australia's judo elite? The National High Performance and Pathways Camp will take place at the NPC in Melbourne from the 11th to 16th of January 2027.
This camp is compulsory for Categorised Athletes and Development Squad members; other athletes may be invited to attend if they meet the appropriate criteria.

Amazing work, Stella! Developing young referees and coaches is how we build a future for Australian judo. Well done Hawthorn-Lilydale Judo Club.

A huge week for Hawthorn Lilydale Judo Club's Stella La Porte.

On Sunday she competed and refereed at the Spring Tournament, where she also passed her State C Referee examination.
During the week Stella was recognised by Boroondara City Council as Youth Volunteer of the Year for her mentorship of young judoka, helping build confidence, resilience and belonging through sport.
Congratulations Stella, an outstanding representative of our judo community.
