To provide a monthly social dance event which provides exclusively Salsa/Mambo, Cha & Bachata music. In 2016 Juan Pablo Blanc (JP) also joined the team.
SOS - Salsa on Saturday aims to bring a once a month (or thereabouts) weekend (Saturday night) social dance event to the Canberra region specifically for lovers of Salsa/Mambo and Chachahca and a little bachata. We aim to fill the gap when there are no weekend places to dance. The event was concieved and begun in 2014 by James Gallagher and Rhonda King two long time Canberra Salsa dancers/instruct

💃🔥 We’re excited to welcome back Emmy & Fran from Bachata Influence for our June Salsa On Saturday! 🔥
Join us on Saturday, June 13 for an amazing night of dancing, connection, and great vibes!
Emmy & Fran will be teaching our pre-party Bachata workshop from 7:00–8:00 PM before dancing the night away with us right through until 11:30 PM. 🕺✨
During the day, they’ll also be teaching special Academy workshops with Move Me Dance Studio - links are in our bio!
🌟 Salsa On Saturday welcomes everybody - from complete beginners to advanced dancers. Come solo, bring friends, and enjoy a fantastic social night on the dance floor.
🎟 Tickets are available now on our Square site and are discounted by 30% until the Friday before the event, so grab yours early!

Need some Latin tunes, this Saturday check out El Tambor - First Pulse. Juan Pablo & Rhonda from SOS - Salsa on Saturday will be teaching a salsa class! It’s out at Cypher Brewing in Gungahlin. Lots on the full day program.
El Tambor: First Pulse is landing at Cypher on Saturday 23 May.
Live music, percussion workshops, dance, open jams, a DJ set and plenty of good times from 12pm.
A full day of cultures, rhythms and people coming together.
Grab the crew, book a table and settle in for the day.
