🎣 Fishing Friday🌦️🐟

Mother Nature clearly missed the memo on calm, blue-sky winter days… 🌧️💨 Between rain clouds, wind and wild weather, chances to hit the water have been few and far between!

But when a little weather window opened up, our guide Aaron didn’t waste a second - rain jacket on, kayak launched, and straight into a sunset session between showers 🌅

Overcast skies, glassy water and a high tide over the reef… it just looked too fishy not to go! Best part? The reef was all Aaron’s 🙌

The fish came to the party! Plenty of squire keeping things exciting (even if most were undersized and sent back to grow a little bigger), plus a cracking surprise visitor - a rare and beautiful tuskfish 💙🐠

As tempting as they are on the plate, we don’t see these beauties too often, so with a legal sweetlip and snapper already in the bag, this special one got the VIP treatment and was carefully released to swim another day.

Rain, wind or shine… there’s always a fishing story waiting out on the Bay 🎣
