It's Healthy Bones Action Week! We have been enjoying some bone health trivia in our warm ups and we love this topic so much at Elossa we're going to make a month of it.
Bit a of a longer article to kick off the week covering why at Elossa we can't talk about the benefits of strength training enough and this time it's all about bone health. But we are also discussing the "icing on the cake" benefits of impact training and our Bone Boost program to ensure this type of training is appropriate and effective!
Don't forget we have our Bone Health & Exercise FREE community talks coming up at both Corrimal and Shellharbour open to members and the general public. Find out more via our website - Get Started tab then "Community Talks"
Strong Bones After 60: Why Strength Training and Impact Loading Both Matter - Elossa Fitness
The encouraging part: bone remains responsive to loading well into your 70s, 80s, and beyond. It's never "too late" to give bone a reason to hold onto density, provided the loading is appropriate for the individual.
