🏆 Tuesday Night Racing & the Winnellie Cup!

What a Tuesday night at Winnellie Park! Eight races, the Winnellie Cup Final taking centre stage, some very handy performances on the track and, judging by the orders flying out of the kitchen, the schnitzels were definitely the favourite of the night! 😂🍽️

🐾 Race 1 – SBA Office National Dash (383m) saw Canya Negotiate get the night underway for Ronald Phillips, winning in 22.49. Selena’s Chance for Anne Ferns was second in 22.58, with Andrew Lasker’s Trust Me third in 22.62.

🏆 Race 2 – Winnellie Cup Final (383m) belonged to Brave Ember! Ronald Phillips’ chaser produced a terrific performance to claim the $5,000 winner’s prize in 22.04, defeating Bing Bing Slayer for Steele Bolton in 22.34, with kennelmate Ritza Duane third in 22.41. Congratulations to Ronald and everyone connected with Brave Ember on a fantastic Winnellie Cup victory! 🏆🐾

🐾 Race 3 – Asian-United Food Service Dash (312m) gave Ronald Phillips another winner, with Northern Lioness flying around in 17.95. Territory Life for Alesha Shepard finished second in 18.23, while Cody Steele’s Impress Tilly was third in 18.45.

🐾 Race 4 – Hyland Sportswear Dash (383m) produced a nice result for Rob Brown, with Daniel Sparkles getting home in 22.17. Enigma Go for Steele Bolton finished second in 22.26, with Adam Poulter’s Sydney Surcharge third in 22.29.

🐾 Race 5 – Sign City Dash (312m) delivered one of the upsets of the night, with Territory Girl getting the chocolates for Alesha Shepard in 18.10 and providing a very healthy return! Zara’s Secret for Steele Bolton was just 0.25 lengths away in second in 18.12, while Ronald Phillips’ Celsius finished third in 18.25.

🐾 Race 6 – Old Mates Bakery Dash (383m) went the way of Mister Easy for Kathleen Reynolds in 22.36. Extra Pineapple for Simon Nathanael was second in 22.64, with Ronald Phillips’ Ontario third in 22.73.

🐾 Race 7 – KNL Fire Solutions Dash (312m) saw Burnside Hunter salute for Cody Steele in 18.09. Honest Jan for Rob Brown took second in 18.26, while Steele Bolton’s Control Bubba rounded out the placings in 18.32.

🐾 Race 8 – BTC Constructions Dash (312m) finished the night with Bear The Brunt getting the job done for Steele Bolton in a sharp 17.93. Thurkettle for Anne Ferns was second in 18.10, with Willow’s Witch for Ronald Phillips third in 18.34.

And while Brave Ember might have been the favourite sight on the track, the schnitzels were certainly the favourite at the dinner table! 😂🍗 Another big night from the Winnellie Park kitchen, keeping everyone well fed between races.

🏆 Brave Ember Burns Bright in the Winnellie Cup!

Brave Ember has taken out Division 1 of the Winnellie Cup tonight in brilliant fashion for trainer Ronald Phillips! 🔥🐾

Jumping from box 8, Brave Ember stopped the clock at a slick 22.04 over the 383m, finishing 4.25 lengths clear of Bing Bing Slayer, with Ritza Duane rounding out the placings.

Meet Viper 🩵
An affectionate and outgoing girl looking for a family to slot right into.

Viper wholeheartedly embodies her race name (Hyper Viper) and lives life to the fullest. She gets along with other greyhounds male and female, and she seems friendly with little dogs too. Viper is not good with cats.

Viper is an excitable girl, and she would love to be a family pet in a home with one other dog and older children. She loves to play hard and can get nippy, so her family would need to be able to safely manage this behaviour. She also loves to splash in the pool and play with soft toys.
