Beecroft Rugby Club

One of our colts, has spent the week playing for Sydney North at the CHS Rugby Carnival.

Narrowly missing out with a draw costing them a shot at the final, the boys were good enough to secure 3rd place winning the bronze medal match 35 - 24. Word on the street is Maxxy had a blinder.

This weekend, Maxxy laces up for the Eastwood Juniors Opens Rep Side when he plays in the Long Weekend Rep Competition at St Lukes in Concord. 3 Games Saturday (09:00, 11:40 & 13:40) and another 3 on Sunday (08:30, 11:10, 13:10).

Good Luck Max for another huge weekend of footy, we know you will smoke them.

Back-to-back strong showings with plenty of grit, energy and teamwork on display as the lads continue to build momentum through the season.

A tough afternoon for First Grade, going down in a hard fought contest. Was great to see a few old boys lace up the boots and run out to support 1’s.

BACK TO BEECROFT DAY

A massive day awaits as the club comes together for one of the biggest days on the calendar. Calling on all players, old boys, supporters, families and friends to get down and celebrate everything that makes our club special.

The day gets even bigger as club legend Chris Bishara runs out for his 200th game - an incredible milestone and a true testament to loyalty, commitment and passion for the jersey. A huge achievement and one the whole club is proud to celebrate.

A dominant performance from our colties this weekend, showing the hard work and commitment building week after week. The energy, physicality and teamwork were there from kickoff to full time.

First Grade faced a tough contest in difficult weather conditions, battling hard against a strong Hornsby side. While the result didn’t go our way, there were plenty of positives to take out of the performance and the boys will be looking to bounce back next week.

Another disappointing Second Grade forfeit due to numbers. We’d love to see more old boys, mates of players, newcomers or anyone keen for a run come down and get involved. Whether you’ve played before or just want to give rugby a crack, the club would love to have you.
