James absolutely delivered on the big stage—making FIVE finals and bringing home a silver medal! 🥈 An incredible achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, resilience, and determination he’s shown. We also loved seeing him take a moment to wave to his supporters back home—your Geelong Sharks family was cheering loud and proud! 🙌
Now we eagerly await Age champs and Maeve's debut - No pressure but we are expecting a wave 😁

Big things ahead for our Sharks! 🦈✨
While we eagerly await James' appearance at National Champs this weekend we're building the excitement by re-reading the write-up from the Addy last week. We're really proud of James and the way that he has settled into a new club, recovered from surgery, and continues to work towards his goals.
We’re also thrilled to be sending not only James to the National Championships, but also debut swimmer Maeve, who achieved her very first national qualifying time last weekend at All Juniors.
Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the sport continue to inspire everyone in our club.
We’ll all be cheering you on! Nationals watch out, the sharks are on the way!

With Summer drawing to a close it’s a great time to look back at our summer of fun at the region’s open water swims. A great way to support our local surf life saving clubs and challenge ourselves with something new…which we all know can be a little bit scary. Not so much when you do it with friends 😊.

What a weekend, Sharks 🦈❤️💙

District Championships are officially done and dusted, and we couldn’t be prouder of our Sharks. Across both days we saw swimmers back themselves, step up to new challenges, and smash personal milestones — exactly what these meets are all about.

There were heaps of PBs, first-time events ticked off, and an awesome team vibe right through to the final race. Even on day two, the energy stayed high and the support for each other was unreal.

So proud of every swimmer who stood up, gave it a go, and walked away stronger than they started. 🦈💙❤️
