Humpty Doo Junior Golfers

Hi all, we are on the lookout for more families to help us out on a Thursday selling meat tray raffle tickets at the golf club.
For quite some time it has come down to just a couple of us, and we’d really appreciate some help.
All the money raised goes toward supporting the kids with new equipment, prizes and events.

Please let me know if you can assist in any way.

Hi families! I hope you’ve all enjoyed some down time with your kids over the school holidays and got out to do something fun!

Training will be back on this Wednesday the 7th at 4pm at Humpty Doo Golf Club.
Please make sure the kids have hats and a water bottle. With the build up warming things up, we want to make sure that everyone stays sun smart and hydrated.
Ensure you pay for the session at the golf shop prior to attending the range.

Golf Australia NT will be coming along at one of our early sessions to assist in getting all the kids registered which not only benefits families, but provides better access to resources for the training team and the club.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!!

A smaller than usual turnout yesterday, but with footy season starting and the weather warming up, that’s understandable
Next week is the last lesson for term 3, we are hoping to get a few of the kids out on the course for some real play, so if possible please allow us some extra time next Wednesday.

As the build up gets hotter, we will manage the kids with regular breaks and if necessary- will shift the training inside in the air con with adjustments to their equipment.
Next term we will also be bringing golf nt onboard to register the kids nationally, which brings its own benefits. Golf Australia NT will be on hand to provide more info.

Thanks for all your dedication bringing the kids each week and we love watching them develop their skills as we turn them into golfers!!

Congratulations to all the winners from this years Club Championships.

Special mention to Tyler Hales for being the youngest player throughout the comp. Keep up the good work young fella!

Good morning all! We have another coach joining us today, Andrew Jackson has recently moved to the NT from QLD, and has expressed interest in helping us with the juniors. So he will add his expertise working alongside Tony. Please bring the kids down and let them soak up the knowledge these gents have to offer!!

Andrew and Tony also offer private tuition - please let me know if I can assist in arranging this.
Hope to see you all there today!!
