Training in now available if you would like to get a head start. This must be completed each year.

It's one month to go till the Tasmanian All Schools competition for Track & Field in Hobart at the Domain Athletics Centre, and we're excited to host the states best school athletes for the pinnacle of school athletics events.

This competition is open to any school student from 10 years old (born 2014) to 17 years old (born 2007), and there are no qualifying prerequisites.

For schools wishing to contest for a place at the National Schools Challenge, teams will qualify via this competition and Year 12 students who are born earlier than 2007 will compete.

Unfortunately the AFLW gala is cancelled again due to rain on Friday. 22mm is forecast to fall by 4.00 pm. Suitable shelter is also not available at the venue if a lighter fall was forecast.

A new date will be set for Term 4. Associations do not have a suitable date in the next few weeks when they are all available.

The AFLW Gala Day will be held next Friday 6th September at Kings Meadows High School.

Parents need to enter via Hobart Road and watch from that area.

There is no room for buses to park in that carpark.

Unfortunately the AFLW Gala Day will be postponed due to a severe weather warning.

It will be held next Friday 6th September.

Venue TBC. Prospect Park is not available due to works.
