🏃‍♂️ 10am Saturday March 14th - the SLLAC Gift & end of season presentation!

Presentation Day will also include the SLLAC Gift! The most fun anyone can have over 120m! The handicap race where any athlete, any age can enter. Because it’s a handicap, it’s designed to be a level playing field and is always a great event to watch!

✅ Important: To compete in the Gift, you must nominate your child/ren in ResultsHQ under the “Nominations” tab.
🎟 Entries are free, but close Thursday 12th of March so handicaps can be worked out.

STATE INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS – THIS WEEKEND 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A reminder that the State Individual Championships are on today and tomorrow at the Domain Athletics Centre in Hobart.

SLLAC has been allocated field crew duties across the weekend, so we will need all hands on deck to help ensure our events run smoothly. We understand the notice is late and there may be some who are unavailable, but any help you can provide on the day will be greatly appreciated.

Please lend a hand where you can. These events rely heavily on volunteers and we thank everyone who steps in to help.

✨ Chad Douglas Memorial Award – Aribella Postmus
The Chad Douglas Award is presented in memory of a former South Launceston Little Athlete who sadly passed away during his Under 9 year. Chad wasn’t the fastest or biggest but he consistently attended Little Athletics each week, gave his best, made friends, had fun and continually improved. This award recognises athletes who display those same qualities of dedication, good sportsmanship, respect for others and a love of the sport. 

🏅 U13 Sportsperson Awards – Toby Misdom & Alexandra Summers
These awards are given to U13 athletes who embody outstanding attitude, effort and sportsmanship throughout the season — showing respect, encouragement of others, and a positive approach on and off the track. 

Well done to all our recipients! Your achievements reflect not just athletic performance, but the heart and spirit of Little Athletics. 💙❤️🤍
