This special evening will celebrate and recognise the outstanding players who have excelled throughout the 2026 season across all Gaelic Games codes in Victoria. The All-Stars Night will honour individual excellence, commitment, and contribution to our games while bringing together the wider GGV community for a night of recognition and celebration.

The first round of the 2026 Gaelic Games Victoria Celtic Club Championship took place on Sunday at Gaelic Park, with clubs from across Victoria battling it out for a place in the next stage of the competition.

Congratulations to all teams who progressed and commiserations to those whose championship journey came to an end. Championship football, hurling and camogie always brings an extra level of intensity, and Sunday was no exception.

We now take a short break for the long weekend before the Championship returns on Sunday, 14th June, with the Semi-Finals across all codes.

With the 2026 League season now complete, attention turns to the most eagerly anticipated competition on the Gaelic Games Victoria calendar - the Celtic Club Melbourne Championship.

The championship campaign gets underway tomorrow, Sunday 31st May, with the opening Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals taking place at Gaelic Park, Keysborough.

Championship football, hurling and camogie always brings a new level of intensity, excitement and passion as clubs battle for a place in the finals and ultimately the title of Victorian Champions.

Gaelic Games Victoria officially launched the 2026 Championship season on Saturday 16th May with a fantastic evening held at the Wild Geese Hotel, Celtic Club Members Bar.

The night brought together players, club members, officials and supporters from across the Victorian GAA community, with a brilliant turnout from all clubs helping create a great atmosphere throughout the evening.

GGV President Martin Byers welcomed everyone in attendance before proceedings got underway with the presentation of the Intermediate Hurling All Star Awards. The All Star initiative is a new addition introduced by Gaelic Games Victoria this year across all codes, recognising outstanding performances throughout the league season.

Attention then turned to the highly anticipated 2026 Championship Draw, conducted by Martin Byers and overseen by GGV Treasurer Sarah Keehan, GGV PRO Ciaran Campbell and GGV Australasia Representative Conor Hennessy.

Following the draw, entertainment was provided by new Irish girl group , who delivered a fantastic performance and kept the atmosphere alive throughout the night.

The evening concluded with the draws for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling and Football Final tickets, with congratulations to all lucky winners.

Gaelic Games Victoria would like to sincerely thank for hosting the Championship Launch, along with all volunteers, committee members, clubs and supporters who continue to help grow and strengthen our cluichรญ Gaelacha community here in Australia.

With the draws now complete, excitement is building ahead of the opening rounds of the 2026 Championships.

On Sunday 10th May, Gaelic Games Victoria hosted a huge day of League Semi-Final action across Menโ€™s and Ladies Senior & Intermediate Football, along with Senior Hurling and Camogie.

Teams battled it out for their place in this weekendโ€™s League Finals, with plenty of quality performances and fiercely contested games on display throughout the day. ๐Ÿ’ช

Alongside the semi-finals, St Kevinโ€™s and Geelong faced off in the CFMEU Menโ€™s Junior Football Final, with St Kevinโ€™s edging a thrilling contest by a single point to claim the title. ๐Ÿ‘
