BTA announces its next step moving into 2026, confirming a change of location & the opportunity to work alongside contemporary training organisation Pre-Professional.

Starting next week, Ballet Theatre Australia will operate from a new location in Malvern East, while continuing as an independent full-time classical ballet school. Working alongside Scimm. allows BTA to explore broader training opportunities while maintaining the strong classical foundations & standards that define the organisation.

This development assists a more rounded full-time training model, with enhanced conditioning & contemporary practice complementing BTA’s meticulous classical ballet training. Together, these elements expand opportunities for greater versatility & strengthen the overall training environment. Supporting students artistic & physical progression, while remaining true to the values & expectations at the core of Ballet Theatre Australia.

Coaching with Ben Davis offers disciplined, individual classical coaching for dancers 13+, grounded in professional experience & unwavering standards. A former Soloist of The Australian Ballet & Director of Ballet Theatre Australia, Ben provides precise, informed coaching focused on strengthening foundations, developing musicality & refining technique for long-term progression.

Sessions are tailored to the individual & designed to complement existing training — supporting dancers to build confidence & work toward professional standards. Ben has extensive experience preparing students for both national & international ballet competitions, including Prix de Lausanne & YAGP, alongside supporting students on their pathway toward professional careers.
