Our players know all about teamwork. They pass the ball, back each other up and work together to score goals.

Now it’s time for a few more grown-ups to practise what we preach! 😂

With just ONE WEEK until our AGM, Mooloolah Soccer Club needs more people to join our committee.

We’re not looking for superstars. We’re looking for ordinary people who care about our club and are willing to share the load.

A big thank you to the Glasshouse Country & Maleny News for highlighting the challenges community sporting clubs like ours are facing when it comes to finding volunteers and building a committee.

Like many volunteer-run clubs, Mooloolah Soccer Club relies on our community to keep things going. We hope this article helps spread awareness and encourages more people to put their hand up and get involved.

🚨💜 THIS IS NOT A DRILL. WE NEED A COMMITTEE! 💜🚨

We love purple.
We love soccer.
We love our Mooloolah community.

But apparently, asking people to join a committee is less popular than washing muddy soccer strips. 👕 😂

Our AGM is nearly here, and we’re running short on people willing to help keep the club going.

Without enough committee members, Mooloolah Soccer Club is at real risk of folding.

And we’d hate for the final whistle to blow because we couldn’t find a few more people to lend a hand.

You don’t have to be a soccer expert. You don’t have to know everything about running a club. And you definitely don’t have to do it all yourself.

You just need to be willing to be part of a team. 💜

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM MOOLOOLAH SOCCER CLUB! 🚨

We’ve checked everywhere…

Under the goalposts.
Behind the canteen.
Inside the kit bags.
Even in the lost property box. 👀

And guess what? We still haven’t found a committee hiding in there! 😂

Unfortunately, soccer clubs don’t run on orange slices, muddy boots and good intentions alone. ⚽️

They need people behind the scenes to organise, plan, make decisions and keep everything ticking along.

Our AGM is approaching, and we desperately need more committee members. Without them, our club may not be able to continue.

You don’t have to do everything. You just have to be willing to do something. 💜

Help us find the missing piece of the puzzle!

💜⚽️ IMAGINE A SATURDAY WITHOUT SOCCER…

No muddy boots in the car.
No sideline cheering.
No post-game discussions about that VERY questionable referee decision. 😂
No kids celebrating their first goal.
No purple jerseys running around the field.

Hard to imagine, isn’t it?

But here’s the uncomfortable truth: Mooloolah Soccer Club is at risk of folding because we don’t have enough people to help run it.

A club isn’t just a field and a set of goalposts. It’s friendships, teamwork, community and memories our kids will carry for years.

The current volunteers have given their time and energy to keep things going, but they can’t do it alone.

We’re asking our community to help us keep this club alive.

You don’t need loads of spare time or special qualifications. You just need to care enough to give a little.

Forget Paris Fashion Week. Mooloolah has been rocking purple for years! 💅

But this season, we’re looking for a few new accessories to complete the look… 👀

👜 Treasurer?
👠 Secretary?
💜 Committee members?

No experience necessary. No designer wardrobe required. Just a willingness to help keep our little club alive!

💜💜 PURPLE IS THE COLOUR. VOLUNTEERING IS THE NEW BLACK. 💜💜

Apparently 💅 Purple is THE colour of the season! Runways are rocking it, wardrobes are embracing it, and we’ve been rocking it at Mooloolah Soccer Club for years. 💜⚽️

Bad news? Our club is at risk of folding because we have not received any nominations for committee positions. 😬

Apparently, purple looks fabulous on the catwalk, but it takes a village to get it onto a soccer field! 😂

You don’t need to know the offside rule, have a clipboard collection, or be the next CEO of Football Australia 😬. We just need a few good humans willing to share the load and help keep our little club alive. 🙌
