Today we celebrate a very special milestone as Merle Carey (pictured far right) turns 90!

Everyone at the MCC & MFC wishes Merle a wonderful 90th birthday. Merle has been a valued part of both our football and cricket clubs for more than 40 years and has also proudly served as Secretary of the Mordialloc Sporting Club.

Thank you for your years of continual support Merle, we hope you’ve had a fantastic day celebrating this special milestone! ❤️🤍🎉

Vale Steven “Potto” Campbell

Mordialloc Cricket Club mourns the passing of Life Member and First XI Turf Premiership player, Steven “Potto” Campbell.

Potto was a key member of the club, opening the bowling for Mordialloc throughout much of the 1980s and early 1990s. A fierce competitor, outstanding fieldsman, and dependable lower-order batsman, he made a significant contribution both on and off the field.

Potto will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and his ability to bring laughter to those around him. His antics, stories, and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on teammates and friends alike.

Potto’s funeral service will be held on Friday, 4 September at 10:30am at Gateway, Chelsea Heights. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at Ben Kavanagh Reserve from 12:30pm to celebrate his life and share memories. ❤️🤍
