TRI SERIES CLUB PERSON OF THE YEAR

Each year, the Tri Series community recognises one person who has made a special contribution to the program and to the people around them. This year, that recognition went to Lisa.
Katie shared some beautiful words about Lisa and the contribution she has made to Nova Netball throughout 2026.

While there were many outstanding team achievements across Nova Netball Club this season, we also had some awesome individual performances.

Two of our shooters, Jorja and Sabina, etched their names into the record books with incredible goal-scoring achievements.

Jorja
Opens Club Record
489 goals in a season

Sabina
Championship Club Record
562 goals in a season
Overall Nova Club Record - 562 goals

Individual records don’t happen in isolation. They are made possible by the teammates whose teamwork, trust and support create the opportunities for success. Two incredible individual achievements that reflect consistency, skill and dedication throughout the season.

Congratulations, Jorja and Sabina!

Celebrating our Umpires ~ Evie, Charlotte, Harper, Malina and Paige.

A huge congratulations to these umpires who achieved their Bronze Awards, C Badge and B Badge this season!

Umpires are such an important part of our game, without umpires, our games can’t go ahead. Thank you for putting yourself out there, controlling the whistle, continuing to learn and develop, and representing Nova Netball Club each week. We can't forget Janine who supported the umpire program and supported our umpires.

Your commitment and contribution to our club is valued more than you know. Congratulations on your achievements!

Session 4 was our biggest presentation, and what a way to finish!
After a slight delay while another prominent Newcastle club was celebrated for their win last week, we finally got our moment to celebrate our very own Gravity, Energy, Lightning, Storm, Thunder, Nebulads and UON.

What an incredible group of teams, players and people who have all contributed to another memorable season of Nova Netball.

A very special thank you to our Nova Committee for everything you do behind the scenes. Your time, organisation and commitment help make sure our players and families feel supported, valued and part of the Nova Netball community.

In Session 3 we celebrated Skyrockets, Protons, Hurricanes, Electrons, Fusion and Galaxies. Congratulations to all of our award winners and to every player who contributed to a memorable season.

Behind every Nova team is a coach and manager who gives their time, energy and commitment to make the season happen. There is so much that happens behind the scenes that often goes unnoticed, but it makes a huge difference to our players and our club.

To our coaches ~ thank you for teaching, encouraging, challenging and believing in our players.

To our managers ~ thank you for keeping everything organised, communicating with families, managing the little details and making sure our teams are supported week after week.

Thank you for everything you have given to Nova this season. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of our Nova family.

You help our Stars Shine Brighter. 💚
