A little update if you weren’t able to get to the show or you missed out previously, the remaining yarn packs have been added to the shop.
These were 4ply (8 x50gm) or a total of 400gms.
They are suitable to be used for the Westknits Kaleidoscope MKAL or a stranded colourwork project, the options really are endless.

Tomorrow’s plan is to focus on updating the yarn inventory (and in my lunch-break I’m going to plant some Puk Choy in my patch 🌱).

Big thanks to all the souls little and big, the brave and the uncertain who ventured and mis-adventured to the Knitters' Guild NSW Fibre Fest event today.

The public transport situation was hellish for many and i hope that in time we can laugh about the challenges of the day.

A big thank you to wonderful volunteers who gave their time freely to get things rolling and to my neighboring stallholders My Creative Garage The Australian Wool Store Cass | Skip Rope Yarn Co Lisa Wicks / EleventyOne Windmills thanks for lending me a hand, a table or a patient word of encouragement whenever it was needed.

This was my final show for 2026. I will update the online shop this week and dye up some orders and lean into a little studio tidy up before shifting my focus to spend a little more time with my mum.

How wonderous it was to spend this precious day making memories with you all. Until we meet again may the yarn sail smoothly through your fingers. ✨⚓️

In case you wonder how I figure out what colours I need to add….it’s as simple as lay it all on the bed and give it a good looking at.
Meanwhile I am also trying to capture new colourways to add to the website.
This is Bobby Dazzler dyed on 4 and 8 ply corriedale and 4 ply polwarth/silk. To the trained eye they can look quite different, you might recognise the silk content really gives the skein a glow-up.

If you were thinking about the Westknits MKAL, I have put together a few colour options and will be uploading them to the webshop tomorrow. Livesnd available by 9am these sets are dyed and ready to fly onto your needles.

Each box contains 8 x 50gm skeins dyed on Cutlass, an Australian grown and New Zealand Spun 4ply 2-strand non superwash Corriedale yarn.
