CongRATulations to record-breaker extraordinaire Jess Bramble who became the first women's player to reach 1000 runs for the Rats last season.

She now has 1172 runs at a phenomenal average of 167.43, dismissed just seven times in her 37 innings. At the ripe old age of just 18, Jess is definitely one to watch in our South Coast Health Hub Women’s squad this season

Well somebody sack the social media coordinator because such an awesome start to the season for the Rats this weekend and not a single photo was taken 🤪

A fantastic season launch last night, a great way to kick off the season and then continued today with trial games against our friends at Northern Districts Cricket Club - The Butchers. 4 games over two grounds today. Our men’s teams were competitive but unsuccessful against the Butchers, our women’s team having a resounding victory.

Impossible to properly thank so many people for the work involved in getting these events going:

🐀 Our awesome Board for countless jobs and setting up and running the canteen
🐀 Matty Faint for working his guts out and interrupting holidays to get a pitch ready in time
🐀 Tom Huetter for lots of running around this morning
🐀 Our Social Committee for the organising and running of a great launch to start the season
🐀 John Oliver for umpiring for us
🐀 Sooky Lala and the Kookas ladies for helping us get a team on the field and being great all round company!
🐀 Northern Districts for great all round competition and an enjoyable day all round.

Huge team effort, Rats! We’re gearing up for a big season! 🩵💛🐀💛🩵
