Vic Park Raiders Junior Football Club

Over the years many champions have started their careers with the Victoria Park Raiders and then gone on to play both WAFL and AFL football.

We always take great pride in the support and dedication of our numerous volunteers and family members. In the spirit of reconciliation the Victoria Park Raiders JFC acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We acknowledge the Wadjuk people of the Noongar Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we play footy, and pay respects to their Elders past and present. We extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

A huge thank you to Hannah Beazley MLA, St Johns WA through Benn Mann and Bradley Brown for their incredibly generous donation and assistance of a brand new defibrillator for our clubrooms.

Having a defibrillator readily available can make all the difference in a medical emergency. It provides our players, volunteers, members and visitors with an added level of safety and gives everyone greater peace of mind, knowing we have this life-saving equipment on hand if it's ever needed.

We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and support in helping make Higgins Park a safer place for our entire Raiders community.

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up, and we’d love to see our Raiders community there.

The strength of our club is built on our volunteers, and the AGM is a great opportunity to learn more about how you can get involved and help shape the future of the Raiders.

We’ll reflect on Season 2026, look ahead to Season 2027 and discuss the plans and priorities for our club moving forward.

Whether you’re interested in joining the Committee, helping in a smaller volunteer role, or simply want to hear more about what happens behind the scenes, everyone is welcome.

Come along, get involved and help us continue to build a strong club for our players and families.

FINAL REMINDER – Competition Closes This Friday!

Don’t miss your chance to enter our FREE Girls Only Auskick Colouring Competition, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

Raiders is launching our first ever Girls Only Auskick team in 2027 for girls in Pre-Primary to Year 2, and every local girl is welcome — no experience needed!

The top 2 participating schools will each receive an Auskick Clinic and Schools Pack, while 5 lucky children will each win their 2027 Auskick registration plus a Raiders merch voucher!

Colouring sheets can be printed from the Raiders website or downloaded from the copy attached. Simply get creative, complete your masterpiece and make sure your entry is handed in by this Friday!

We are absolutely thrilled to share the results from the Metro Junior Community Football Awards, held over the weekend!

We were so proud to have been selected as finalists in the following categories:

Coach Coordinator of the Year – Alastair Brook
Youth Club of the Year – Victoria Park Raiders JFC
Mods Club of the Year – Victoria Park Raiders JFC
Administrator of the Year – Michelle Kinsman

And we are beyond excited to announce that the Raiders came away with some amazing recognition:

🏆 Youth Club of the Year – Victoria Park Raiders JFC
🏆 Administrator of the Year – Michelle Kinsman
🏆 Club Person of the Year – Michelle Kinsman

Even more special, both Youth Club of the Year and Administrator of the Year were awarded across the North, South and Central Conferences, making these achievements even more significant.

To be recognised at this level is something our entire Raiders Community can be extremely proud of and reflects the dedication, hard work and commitment shown by so many people across the Raiders, our Committee, Coaches, Team Managers, Volunteers, Players, Families and Supporters, who all contribute to making our Club so special.

What an incredible achievement for our Club and a wonderful way to celebrate everything the Raiders Community brings to Junior Footy.

A huge congratulations to Adrian Carles, who was awarded the Players’ Player Award and also finished Runner-Up in the Fairest & Best at the Perth Football Club Awards.

Adrian has been a Raider for many years, and it makes us incredibly proud to see him continuing to achieve at the next level.

These awards are a wonderful recognition of the season he has had and the respect he has earned from those around him.

Congratulations, Adrian. This is a fantastic achievement and one the Raiders are very proud of!

These awards recognise the consistency, effort, commitment and sportsmanship shown throughout the season, reflecting the hard work and contribution you have made to your team across the year.

A huge thank you to our Committee Members, Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Managers and Key Volunteers, whether it was in the canteen, goal umpiring, running, interchange, first aid, washing jerseys, fundraising or simply cheering from the sidelines.

Every contribution helped make our season possible and we are so grateful for the time, effort and support you have given to our club and our players throughout the year.

Thank You also to everyone who came along to our Busy Bee last weekend and helped get all those end of season jobs done. Many hands really do make light work!

And finally, congratulations to our award winners. Your efforts throughout the season have been recognised and are very well deserved.

Congratulations to Daniel Kinsman from our Year 9 Team, who was awarded the District Fairest & Best for his Division this evening.

This is a huge achievement and a true testament to Daniel’s dedication, passion and love for the game. A fantastic and very well deserved achievement. Well done, Daniel!

A big shout out to all of our Raiders who received votes across the two nights. Every vote is a sign of respect and recognition from the umpires and something to be very proud of.
