A HUGE Thank you to Sensei Gus from the Edgeworth Dojo who was kind enough to drop into the the PMQ Dojo while in town and conduct an amazing Jiu Jitsu Seminar today. After years of dedication, discipline, consistency and hard work, several of our higher grades have now been officially invited to challenge for their next Black Belt in Karate and Black Badge in Muay Thai at the end of the year.

This is not something that is simply given — it is earned through countless hours on the mats, perseverance through challenges, leadership within the dojo, and the commitment to constantly improving both physically and mentally.

To be invited to test at this level is a huge achievement in itself and reflects the effort these students have put into their martial arts journey over many years.

We are proud to see Sensei’s Brent, Ronan and Stuart and Kru Roi Alan stepping up to this challenge and representing the values of Kumiai Ryu and our karate and Muay Thai program with humility, respect and determination.

The road to Black Belt and Black Badge is never easy, but that is what makes it meaningful. We look forward to seeing everyone push themselves during preparation and give their very best at the grading weekend.

Saturday Night, the dojo kids took over for an epic Movie Night so the grown ups could enjoy a well-earned “Parents Night Out!” 🎬🍕

The night was packed with Sword battles ⚔️, Nerf Wars 🔫, pizza, laughs, and of course a movie with popcorn to finish it all off!

Loads of fun, loads of energy, and plenty of smiles all around. Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a great night! 🙌
