The club are thrilled to announce the reappointment of our Senior Assistant coach…

We are so keen to have Taj back on board for season 2027 after a great season assisting Senior coach Brendon Moore during 2026!

To have someone like Taj assisting on and off the field, supporting the boys and pushing them to their full potential at all times…it’s looking promising for our 2027 side🔥

❤️💙Taylor “Tex” Ward❤️💙

Taylor has a wealth of knowledge in senior football and has been at our club for the past 3 seasons taking away our Reserves “Orourke Family” Best and Fairest last year.

“Tex” as most refer to him as has earnt the respect of the players, committee and supporters to continue to drive the standards Stephen and Brendon have implemented for the last 2 seasons.

Bring on 2027, we can’t wait to get working with you Tex🔥

Who has put in a mountain of work into the club over the last 3 seasons! A finals appearance last year and just missing finals this year on percentage, he has helped make the club extremely competitive with the work he has done with our senior coach Brendon Moore, and our Under 19 coach Richard Bulmer for 2026 and in 2025 with Jamie McPherson and Brad Tomlinson.

Stephen will be unavailable to coach in 2027 but he’s great spirit and enthusiasm for the club won’t be forgotten! We hope to still see him around supporting the mighty dees where he can🔥
