🏆🎉 WE HAVE A WINNER!!
What a night for Rye Tennis Club! 💙🎾
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our very own Natalee Chiodo has been named the 2026 Fay McCormick Rye Sports Administrator of the Year! 👏👏
And judging by her reaction, nobody was more surprised than Natalee herself! 😂
It was a fantastic evening at the Blue Room at Rye Hotel for the Community Bank Southern Peninsula Rye Sportsperson of the Year Awards, bringing together local sporting clubs to celebrate the incredible people who make sport such an important part of our community.
We were also incredibly proud of our Junior Sportsperson nominee, Sebastian Chow, who represented Rye Tennis Club brilliantly and spoke with such confidence during his interview on the night. Well done, Sebastian! 👏
A huge congratulations to all 12 nominees and especially our fellow award winners:
🏆 Senior Sportsperson of the Year: Sienna De La Sota – Rye Football Netball Club
🏆 Junior Sportsperson of the Year: Finn Eagles – Rye Junior Football Club
🏆 Administrator of the Year: Natalee Chiodo – Rye Tennis Club
A special thank you to Community Bank Southern Peninsula and all the event sponsors for supporting these wonderful awards, and to everyone involved in organising such an enjoyable evening.
Community sport simply wouldn't happen without the dedication of so many volunteers, administrators, coaches, players and supporters. It's wonderful to see their contributions recognised and celebrated.
What a night for Rye! 💙🎾🏆
