Silly season begins 🤔

A lot to play out in the coming weeks… starting today we should hear exit interview news and decisions regarding around a third of our list.

We have a whopping 13 players without contracts for next year with the headliners being Arty, Buku & Libba. The Dogs have been forced to pay up after opposition interest with the club confident in retaining our talent.

Expect a few unlucky lads to be in contract limbo until the end of trade period proceedings, a lot of decisions aren’t overly straight forward.

DOGS LOSE 💔

We were our own worst enemy all night, did so much right but had a Darcy sized hole in our forward 50 as our season comes to an agonising end.

It felt like death by a thousand cuts as we failed to follow the finals away team golden rule of kicking straight. Umpiring was poor but that’s to be expected in that environment.

We have been ridiculed & disrespected all year… and as much as this loss hurts, I can’t help but be proud of the resilience shown by our boys, they did the jumper proud.

This one hurts, stick fat bulldogs.

Will Lewis returns from his calf injury replacing Matt Kennedy who misses with concussion. A great story for Lewy who gets his chance on the big stage.
