When Mark Bosnich says WalkSoccer is the best… who are we to argue? ⚽️🙌

Walking football is growing across NSW, social, fun, competitive when you want it to be, and a great way to stay in the game.

When you’re ready, we’ll see you at Strathfield for a kick! 💙⚽️

What a fun experience to be part of! ⚽️📺

Lee couldn’t quite help his beloved Arsenal take out the A Current Affair Cup, even with those all-important bonus points from the Best Club Song Sing-Off! 😂🔴⚪️

At least the result was a little easier to swallow with the Red Manchester taking home the Cup!

Great fun being part of A Current Affair’s segment celebrating the kickoff of the 2026/27 Premier League season on Stan Sport.

The journey is underway.

We’ve had our first look at the representative pathway through footage from the NSW Metro trials, with more training sessions taking place this week across the programme.

Players from weekly hubs across Metro and Regional NSW are now taking the next step toward State representation and the WFFA Cup 2026.

This is only the beginning.

12 teams. One State. One identity.

More reveals are coming soon — including the name, the badge, the squads and the kit.

💙 Introducing the NSW Blue Tongues

Today, we are proud to reveal the new name and identity for NSW’s representative walking football teams:

The NSW Blue Tongues.

This new State identity brings together players from across Metro and Regional NSW as they prepare to represent NSW at the WFFA Cup 2026 and beyond.

The Blue Tongue is uniquely Australian, resilient and unmistakable, a fitting symbol for a team built from communities right across our State. It represents pride, character and the growing strength of walking football in NSW.

The NSW Blue Tongues are more than a tournament team.

They represent a pathway for players to progress from weekly local hubs and tournaments through to State representation, with future opportunities that may extend to Australian selection and international events.

Over the coming days, we’ll begin revealing the teams and introducing the players who will proudly wear the badge.

Something Blue Is Coming…

A new era of representative walking football is beginning in NSW.

Walking Football NSW is preparing to bring together players from across metropolitan and regional NSW as part of a new State representative programme ahead of the 2026 WFFA Cup.

For the first time, the programme will be brought together under a single, distinctive NSW identity.

We’re not revealing that identity just yet.

What we can reveal is the scale of what is coming.

12 teams. One State. One identity.

Players from communities across NSW will represent the State across the men's and women's age divisions, creating an important pathway from weekly community walking football through to competitive State representation.

The programme will bring Metro and Regional players together while recognising the strength and diversity of walking football communities across NSW.

Over the coming weeks, we will progressively reveal more of the story.

You’ll meet the new NSW representative identity and see the official logo for the first time.

We’ll announce the squads and introduce the players who have earned the opportunity to represent their State.

We’ll follow the teams as training gets underway, share the development of the new playing kit and introduce the partners who will be supporting the programme.

And we’ll take you behind the scenes as the teams prepare for the WFFA Cup at Cromer Park on 10–11 October 2026.

For now, we’ll leave you with just one clue.

Something Blue is coming.

Follow Walking Football NSW across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and our WhatsApp Channel as the story unfolds.

Love a good potato scallop! 🥔😋

Can’t give this place a rating yet because I haven’t actually been there… but after seeing this, it’s definitely on the list! 😂

I’ll get there, try the burger and the potato scallops and report back with my rating.

Has anyone been to Chook@Licious? Worth a visit? And, more importantly… how good are the scallops?
