🏏 NJCA UMPIRING PLAYING CONDITIONS TRAINING SESSION 🏏

Want to umpire in NJCA competitions or carnivals this season? This session is for you!

The NJCA Playing Conditions Training Session is designed to prepare you for game day. Through realistic examples and activities, you'll work through common situations, discuss potential challenges and learn how to confidently apply the playing conditions in the moment.

📅 Monday 21 September
⏰ 6:00pm-8:00pm
📍 Club Charlestown

This session is mandatory for all new umpires wanting to umpire in NJCA competitions and carnivals.

Already umpiring with NJCA? All existing umpires are strongly encouraged to attend as a refresher and to make sure everyone is across the playing conditions for the upcoming season.

NJCA is launching our new Stage 3 Girls League for 2026/27, a new approach to keeping teenage girls playing cricket, staying active and enjoying sport.

We’re looking for three trailblazing businesses to get behind the competition from the very beginning.

Your logo featured on the sleeve of the Stage 3 playing shirt - worn by all players.

Matches will be played at Friday afternoon hub venues, providing our partners with a visible presence throughout the competition.

📣SENIOR REGO NOW OPEN📣

We’re always on the lookout for new players, so grab your mates and spread the word!

Note that we’ve lowered the upfront rego fee to $90 (largely made up of mandatory Cricket Australia and association fees) and players will now pay $20 per game played. This should make rego more affordable for casual players without negatively affecting players who play the majority of games.

🏏𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲/𝟮𝟳 - 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿🏏

This season we are raising the bar on sidelines and coaching.

Most of our parents, coaches and spectators do the right thing every single weekend. That is the real standard at NJCA, and this season we are holding it.

Over the next few weeks we will share what that looks like for parents, for coaches, and for the umpires who make our game possible.

And reminding everyone that junior cricket belongs to the kids who play it.

Its time to start dusting off those pad and checking if those pants still fit! Cricket regos at VECC are open for all Juniors. If this is your first season or you were born with a bat in your hand we can't wait to see you take the field for the 26/27 season!
