LET'S GO!!!💥

Wonthaggi Clay Target Club - WGC Grand Final Eve Day/Night Competition is locked and loaded for Friday 25th September 2026, kicking off at 1pm!!!

🎯 75TGT DB CHAMPIONSHIP during the day, followed by 50 DB FLASH TARGETS under lights - because missing them in daylight just wasn't challenging enough!!!🤣

🎯💥100TGT CONTINENTAL - WE SURVIVED!!!💥🎯

Well....last Saturday certainly sorted out who could shoot and who was just there for the Canteen!!!🤣

We had a great bunch of Shooters take on some seriously challenging conditions, with the wind deciding Continental wasn't hard enough sending the targets on their own little roller-coaster ride. Up, down, and even a few looked like they were trying to get back in the trap!!!💥🤣

But despite the wind doing its best to completely stuff things up, the day ran brilliantly and we were DONE AND DUSTED - presentations and all - by 2.30pm!!!👏

Thank you to our Committee and Members who once again helped run another successful shoot.

Now...special mention to our very own
"LEYLAND BROTHERS" -
MICHAEL and MEL!!!🤣

These two spent the day exploring the vast and rugged terrain between Traps 1 & 2 like they were filming an Australian adventure documentary. They travelled between the traps so many times we nearly had to install road signs and a service station halfway!!!🤣

Fill Trap 2, ref/score then repeat, repeat, repeat.

By the end of the day, they'd both lost three kilos, worn the tread off their shoes and neither of them ever wanted to see a Trap again!!!

Absolute LEGENDS!!!👏

First time in the office and you absolutely NAILED IT!!!👍🏻 Great job Sarah Hadjialexiou, unfortunately for you, because you did so good....you may find yourself doing it again!!!🤣 But seriously we can't thank you enough!!! Well done!!!❤️👏
