Proud moment for Botswana Badminton! 🇧🇼

Huge congratulations to our very own Emmanuel Kgaboetsile and Sheba Seponono for representing Botswana among the 12 BCA Technical Officials from 8 African countries at the VICTOR BWF World Junior Championships 2026 in Cairo, Egypt!

Seeing Batswana officials on the world stage like this is pure excellence. You’re not just umpiring and line-judging, you’re raising the bar for African badminton and putting Botswana sports on the global map. This is how we push our sports higher!

This October, the Botswana Badminton Association stands together in the fight against breast cancer. Let’s raise awareness, encourage early detection, support survivors, and remind one another that early detection can save lives.

Together, we can serve, smash, and rally for a cause that matters.

The Botswana Badminton Association (BBA) and the Paralympic Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening long-term collaboration and the development of Para badminton in Botswana.

Through this partnership, both organisations will work together to create more inclusive opportunities for athletes with physical impairments, including increased access to coaching, training and competition opportunities.

Together, we believe in the power of sport to transform lives, build confidence and create opportunities for everyone. This partnership marks another important step towards growing Para badminton nationally and ensuring that badminton truly is a sport for all.
