This skate sharpening came into our shop today. We’re not going to name the business or throw anyone under the bus… but wow. 😬

Repeated low-quality sharpening had rounded the blade profile, removed significant steel from the toe and heel, and left the edges well out of level.

Unfortunately, at this point, the steel needs to be replaced, since we can’t add steel back to the heel and toe.

This is exactly why we invested in the Elite ES4. It’s the best machine available, period.
