Effective now and going forward. Curling Canada adopts the World Curling Rules.

Curling Canada: "The timing is right, according to Curling Canada Chief Executive Officer Nolan Thiessen, noting that the number of principal differences between Canadian and World regulations has shrunk."
"‘OK, we are getting so close to these (international) rules,’” added Curling Canada Chief Umpire Brett Waldroff, a member of that (Rules) committee. ‘Why don’t we just follow the rules of World Curling?’ ”

Ben Hebert is coming to Goldline Calgary on Sunday, September 13, and we’re putting him in the dunk tank.

Even better, his daughter Sloane will be there to see if she can show everyone how it’s done.
