Five Airdrie athletes are getting their moment on the wall. 🏅

The City of Airdrie will recognize this year’s Elite Athlete honourees during a ceremony at Genesis Place later this month.

The 2025 honourees are Nico Diaz in BMX, Ronin Xavier Thompson in box lacrosse, Colton Jackson-McConnell in football, Braylee Schell in baseball and Sophia Howell in triathlon.

Each will be featured on the Elite Athlete Wall at Genesis Place, recognizing their achievements on national and international stages. 👏

Three Airdrie Eclipse football teams capped a successful weekend at the Battle of the Prairies tournament in Moose Jaw earlier this month, with all three squads advancing to championship games and two capturing titles.
