🍦 Infant 2 Ice Cream Parlour 🍦

Scoops, sprinkles, and so much imagination! Yesterday, Michelle transformed our dramatic play area into a sweet little ice cream parlour inspired by the children’s growing interest in pretend food play.

Even our youngest learners can meaningfully participate in dramatic play experiences. Through exploring props, filling cups and cones, scooping “ice cream,” and serving their friends, infants are building early social skills, communication, creativity, and fine motor development. These experiences allow children to make connections to the world around them while expressing their ideas in ways that are meaningful to them.

We loved watching the children engage with one another, take on different roles, and bring their own ideas to the play. Learning through play starts early, and our Infant 2 children showed us just how capable they are! 💕🍨

🐄🌾 Emma’s Farm Activity! 🌾🐄

At Kinder, we love following the children’s interests and creating meaningful learning experiences based on what excites them! After noticing a growing curiosity about farm animals, Emma planned a hands-on farm activity where the children had the opportunity to “milk” their very own cows. 🥛🐄

Through this playful experience, the children explored cause and effect, strengthened their fine motor skills, and worked together to solve problems—all while having lots of farmyard fun! Watching their excitement and engagement reminds us how powerful child-led learning can be.

When we build experiences around children’s interests, learning becomes meaningful, memorable, and full of joy. ❤️🌱

After 7 incredible years with Kinder Learning Centres, Drew is beginning an exciting new chapter as he starts his journey with the Canadian Armed Forces.

Throughout the years, Drew has become a familiar face and a beloved educator across all of our programs. His witty humour, endless energy, and unwavering support have touched the lives of so many children, families, and colleagues. Whether he was making everyone laugh, lending a helping hand, or creating meaningful moments with the children, Drew’s impact on our centre has been truly unforgettable.

While we will miss seeing his smile and hearing his jokes around the daycare, we couldn’t be more proud of him as he embarks on this new adventure serving our country.

Thank you, Drew, for seven years of dedication, laughter, and memories. Your Kinder family will always be cheering you on, and we wish you nothing but success and happiness in this next chapter.

🎓✨ Preschool Graduation 2026 ✨🎓

What an incredible journey it has been! We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and have cherished watching them learn, grow, and discover the world around them. ❤️

Some of our friends joined us as tiny babies, taking their very first steps and speaking their first words within our walls. Others came to us later in their journey, but no matter how long they have been with us, we have treasured every laugh, every milestone, every friendship, and every special moment we’ve shared together. From crawling to running, from first words to endless conversations, it has been a privilege to be part of their story.

As they prepare for their next adventure, we wish each of our graduates the very best of luck in kindergarten. We know they will continue to shine, explore, and accomplish amazing things. 🌟

🌸🪴 Planting seeds of imagination in Preschool 3! 🪴🌸

Today, our little gardeners explored a hands-on sensory invitation where they chose a pot, scooped and poured their “soil,” made a hole, selected their favourite flower, and proudly planted their own beautiful creations. 🌷

Through this playful experience, the children practiced sequencing, strengthened fine motor skills, and engaged in imaginative play while expressing their creativity and making thoughtful choices. We loved seeing their excitement and pride as each unique arrangement came to life! 💕🌼
