📢 UPCOMING FACILITY CLOSURE

A reminder that the Lunenburg County YMCA will be closed on Friday, August 21.

NSCC is coordinating this closure to allow Nova Scotia Power to complete a necessary equipment update to the facility. Power will be unavailable during the work, so the YMCA will remain closed for the full day.

Please plan your workouts accordingly. We appreciate your understanding!

We're excited to part@nourish_ns to bring the Youth Food Leaders Program to the Liverpool YMCA Youth Centre!

Youth Food Leaders is a hands-on program where youth will:
🌱 Build confidence and leadership skills
👩‍🍳 Learn practical cooking and food skills
🥗 Enjoy nourishing food
🤝 Connect with friends and their community

📍 Location: Liverpool YMCA Youth Centre
40 Water Street, Liverpool
📅 Dates: Tuesdays – August 18 & 25; September 8, 15 & 22; October 6 & 13
🕝 Time: 2:30–5:00 PM
👥 Ages: 12–18

Every Wednesday we have an introductory level baseball program, aiming to reduce some of the biggest barriers anyone identifying as a girl may face when accessing or participating in sport 🏆🥇

Girls At Bat works to remove these barriers and provides opportunities to learn and play sport amongst a resilient and inclusive community. 💙
