July 28 was Parade Day for our club although it was last minute to get the float ready it was a success. I personally want to thank Denice and Melissa and Christine for helping me it means a lot. I also like to thank Justin for providing the float in this year's event. Thanks to everyone who showed up to represent our club .
Schedule for this week
July 27 to August 1st
Monday classes as usual
Tuesday morning classes and afternoon but no evening classes
Wednesday morning classes
Kickboxing cancelled, Boxing is on
Thursday Morning and afternoon classes no evening classes
Friday morning classes no Stress Reliever, traditional and competitive boxing are on
Saturday classes are on
Special note we will have a float in the parade this year everyone is welcome to participate. If you can help with decorating the float , handing out candies, walking the parade or hitting the pads please bring your gloves and wraps. Everyone must meet 5.30 at the back of the community college if you plan on being in the parade.

Remember our Little Champ program has continued with a new time 9.00 a.m. on Tuesday for the summer schedule. Our first class is today July 7th.

Two boxers from DMC Boxing Club competed last night in Halifax. Justin Taylor had a rematch and defeated his opponent with confidence and with a new frame of mind throwing combinations with superior footwork over his opponent. Andrew Schwartz lost his bout when he received a punch that stopped him in the second round. Andrew fought well up to this point with improvement in key areas. Well done to both boxers. Peter Stuart and David Penny were the coaches .

Andrew Schwartz won last night with a unanimous decision. Congratulations Andrew and thank you to our members who showed up to cheer him on. Thank you. Today Skyler Dagley is heading to New Brunswick for his bout. Good luck Skyler bring it home.
