Our coaches spend their days helping young cricketers become better players. This time, they showed what they can do on the national stage.

Farhan Malik and Rommel Shahzad were both outstanding with the ball as Alberta went on to become the 2026 Men’s Nationals T20 Champions.

Coach Abhishek Abhishek Bharth | Cricketer was outstanding for Alberta throughout the 2026 Men’s Nationals T20 Championship, playing a key role in the team’s historic title run, and being named the tournament’s Best Bowler.

A performance that showed exactly what our players see from him every day at Future Cricket Stars.

When your captain leads from the front, big things happen.

Our Founder & Director, Hamza Tariq helped lead Alberta to a historic 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐌𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝟐𝟎 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 and put together a tournament to remember.

A captain’s performance, a captain’s leadership, and a Final that will be talked about for a long time.

We’re incredibly proud of Hamza and everything he accomplished on the national stage. 🏆

A week later, and the celebrations are still going.

Four members of the Future Cricket Stars family represented Alberta at the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐌𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝟐𝟎 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 — and all four left their mark on the tournament.

𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 🌟

This session was all about going back to the basics and building confidence with the straight shot. 🏏

Players worked on their technique, balance, timing, and ability to play the ball straight with control. The focus and effort throughout the session showed how much can be gained by mastering the fundamentals.

It’s simple, it’s classic, and it’s one of the most important shots in the game — get the basics right, and everything else follows. 💪🏽
