Huge congratulations to two of our young students, Trent and Sawyer, whose Glenlake team won the U11 AA Crowchild Challenge tournament for the first time in 43 years! Great to see their hard work and dedication pay off with a big win like this.

Some clips from last yesterday’s Dynamic Strength & Flexibility Clinic, which includes a small-group session with Sue Raffin upstairs, followed by an on-ice session with Caroline and Max. This weekly clinic is a great way to work on your game in a variety of ways over a short period of time on a weekend, and learn new exercises that will help you stay healthy and strong throughout the season.

We are excited to announce that Caroline Gosling has taken on a larger role and will be available for 1-on-1 sessions, starting now! Caroline is a longtime World Pro student and instructor who has always brought a great attitude and work ethic to the ice. Her shooting skills will present a challenge for any goalie, and her ability to confidently and accurately explain both technical and tactical aspects of goaltending are a huge asset. Many of you will recognize her from our summer camps.
Caroline, who often goes by “Goose”, played her minor hockey in Calgary (U18 AAA Fire & Edge Prep) before attending Concordia University. She has also played at the pro level and is a Canada Games Gold Medalist. She played at a high level thanks to her commitment to fitness and technical skills, and she looks forward to passing on those abilities to the goalies at our facility! World Pro student & summer camp instructor Ivan Tourin in action versus the Fernie Ghostriders! Ivan stopped 50 of 54 shots, many of them high quality, in a 4-0 loss, keeping his team in the game against a very strong opponent. Great to see this dedicated athlete taking the next step in his hockey career!
