Welcome Fall by Recycling Right!
As the leaves start to change, it’s a great time to remember the impact of your recycling efforts.
Every beverage container you recycle in Alberta contributes to a cleaner environment and supports our community's sustainability goals.
Did you know that Alberta's beverage container recycling system has diverted 2.16 million containers from landfills last year?
Your commitment to returning your single-use containers, no matter how small, plays a significant role in preserving our beautiful province.

Adults Slo-Pitch Program
• A fun, friendly, non-competitive league (score is kept only to group teams into a year-end tournament).
• It is a co-ed league with men and women on each team.
• Standard slo-pitch rules apply, with some modifications to enhance safety and fun for everyone.
• Players will be distributed amongst the teams (couples will be kept together).
• There are no make-up games due to bad weather.
• Skill levels vary from beginners to experienced players. All are welcome!
• There is no need to worry if you have no knowledge of slo-pitch rules as there are plenty of others in the same boat and it’s super easy to learn!
• It is an excellent opportunity to play with your neighbours and to make new friends!
Description: Slo-Pitch Softball is a sport that is very similar to baseball, but there are some key differences: the ball must be thrown by the pitcher underhandedly and the field is smaller with the bases and the fielders being closer to home plate. WONDERFUL TESTIMONIAL (Thank you Sherry!):
Today I had my car full from top to bottom with 89 cases of beer bottles to take to the depot. Karim met me at the front to ask if I needed any help. I of course said yes. When I opened the back of the car and he saw how many I had he asked me to go to the back door and he would load onto a skid. I was so happy he did as it would have taken me several trips to do with the front carts. Karim and another kind person did all the loading onto the skid. 👍Thank you so much Karim!
