Whether you’re looking to get your feet dirty in the sand close to home, or you want to experience beach volleyball in different locations across the Island, these camps are a great opportunity to train, compete, and grow in a fun summer environment.

📅 July 20–24 | 9:00–11:30am

📍 Beach Camp #4: Mill River

📅 August 10–14 | 1:00–3:30pm

Open to athletes entering Grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 for Fall 2026. Spots are limited to 16 athletes per camp, so don’t wait!

Volleyball PEI is excited to announce a new collaboration with Active Islanders PEI! 🤝

Active Islanders is a Charlottetown-based organization focused on delivering fun, engaging, and inspiring camp experiences for young Islanders while promoting physical activity, learning, and positive values. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

As part of this partnership, participants enrolled in Active Islanders summer camps will have the opportunity to take part in weekly mini SMASHBALL sessions throughout the summer. 🏐☀️

These sessions are designed to introduce basic volleyball concepts while developing fundamental movement patterns, hand-eye coordination, teamwork, and confidence in a fun, age-appropriate environment. 💪

We’re excited to work alongside an organization that shares our commitment to getting kids active, building confidence through sport, and creating positive experiences for young Islanders… and maybe turn a few "Young Guns" into future volleyball stars along the way! 👀🤩

Whether you’re brand new to beach volleyball or looking to sharpen your skills and take your game to the next level, these camps are a great chance to get in the sand, learn, compete, and grow your beach knowledge.🤯

Beach volleyball is fast, challenging, and one of the best ways to build your overall game, all while having a ton of fun outside this summer. ☀

🏐 Skill-Specific Sessions Update!

Due to an unforeseen challenge last week, we’ve had to pivot our session waves by one week.

Wave 1 will now run June 6th - 27th, while Wave 2 will now begin July 4th and run through July 25th.

This 4-week program is designed for athletes entering Gr. 7-9 in the fall who are looking to sharpen key areas of their game through focused, instruction-based training.

Each session will target a different core skill:

✅ Serve & Serve Reception
✅ Attacking
✅ Setting
✅ Defense

This is a great opportunity to get quality reps, coaching feedback, and skill-focused development heading into the summer!

Wave 1 is already at capacity but there are still spots available in Wave 2. Don’t wait to register!

Meet our Summer Team! ☀️🏐

We’re excited to introduce the final member of our 2026 Summer Program Coordinators roster: Emma Visser!

Emma is an Island-grown athlete who came through VPEI's provincial team pathway before continuing on at the post-secondary level. She now competes within the ACAA with Crandall University.

This summer, Emma will be helping lead and support our growing lineup of programs, camps, leagues, and athlete development opportunities across the Island.

We’re excited to have another Island athlete bringing her experience back to the local volleyball community and helping inspire the next wave of PEI athletes.

Thank You, Cheryl! 💚🏐

After 22 years with Volleyball PEI, Cheryl Crozier is stepping down from her role as Executive Director.

Since joining Volleyball PEI in 2004, Cheryl has helped guide the organization through an incredible period of growth, connection, and community impact. Over her tenure, she has worked alongside 5 Board Presidents, supported an estimated 7,500+ athletes, helped impact over 450+ coaches and been part of 6 Canada Summer Games cycles.

From hosting the Volleyball Canada ED/TD meetings during an epic snowstorm in 2012, to welcoming and hosting FIVB World League and Volleyball Canada AGM in 2015, Cheryl has been at the heart of so many major moments for volleyball on the Island.

Beyond the numbers and milestones, Cheryl’s greatest impact has been felt through the people. The athletes, coaches, volunteers, board members, staff, officials, and volleyball leaders she has worked with across PEI and Canada.

On behalf of the current Volleyball PEI Board, and the greater PEI volleyball community, thank you Cheryl for 22 years of commitment, leadership, and dedication to growing the sport in PEI.

We are so grateful for everything you’ve given to Volleyball PEI. 💚
