We are thrilled to welcome coach Alex to Victory! 🤸‍♀️

Alex is in his 3rd year of Chemistry at UPEI and brings an impressive background as both an athlete and coach. He was a member of the 2023 Canada Winter Games Team and represented Team PEI at the Canadian Championships in 2022 and 2023. He has been coaching for 5 years, is level 1 certified and is looking forward to obtaining his level 2 certification.

Alex is most excited to work with an experienced team of passionate coaches and we can’t wait to see the impact he will have on our athletes.

We are excited to welcome coach Makenna to the Victory team! 💜 🙌

Mackenna is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology program with a diverse background in competitive gymnastics, cheerleading, strength coaching, and athletic development.

Her athletic journey began as a competitive gymnast in New Brunswick, where she trained for several years before spending nine years as a competitive cheerleader. Following her cheerleading career, she continued to pursue strength and athletic development through CrossFit, combining her passion for movement with her education in kinesiology.

She currently manages 782 Fitness as a certified CrossFit coach, where she specializes in gymnastics elements and works with athletes in both group and one-on-one settings. She has also had the opportunity to lead a variety of strength, athletic development, and sport-specific programs for youth and teens, with an emphasis on developing body awareness, coordination, and efficient movement patterns.

Makenna is excited to bring her knowledge and experience back into the gymnastics environment and help athletes build a strong physical foundation for efficient and successful skill development. Her coaching philosophy focuses on helping athletes understand how their bodies move, build confidence in their abilities, and develop strength and skills in a fun, engaging, and positive environment.

She will be working with our xcel athletes and is looking forward to being a part of their gymnastics journey! 🤸

We’re super excited to welcome coach Sara to the Victory coaching team! 🙌 She will join us this fall and play an important role in our CCP program.

With over 10 years of coaching experience, her level 2 certification, and her work as a child and youth care worker, Sara brings a vast amount of knowledge, experience, and passion to our gym.

Known for her positive attitude and encouraging approach, Sara is committed to helping our athletes build confidence, develop new skills and thoroughly enjoy the sport of gymnastics. She is looking forward to joining our experienced team of coaches and can’t wait to meet all of the athletes and families.
