Grateful that I get to turn a passion into a profession.
Every athlete has a different story, different strengths, and different challenges. My job is to meet them where they are, use the best evidence available, build real relationships, and help them become the best version of themselves.
That’s a privilege I’ll never take for granted.

Thanks to the .ca for putting on a great day of continuing education.
Still reflecting on this weekend’s CSCA presentation.
Grateful for the opportunity to share some of the frameworks and systems I’ve refined throughout my coaching career to help individualize strength and conditioning within a team environment.
The best part wasn’t presenting. It was the conversations afterwards. The questions, discussions, and different perspectives shared by coaches in the room made the experience incredibly rewarding.
Always learning, always refining, and always looking for better ways to help athletes succeed.

Over the past five months, we’ve been building something bigger than a clinic.
We’ve been building an integrated ecosystem for Islanders back on Prince Edward Island.
Every healthcare system has its own challenges depending on the region. One thing we’ve learned over the years is this:
1. Nothing slows progress more than providers working in silos with no communication.
2. Too often, patients are left navigating disconnected systems on their own.
We wanted to change that.
We’re proud of the groundwork we’ve put in across PEI to create strong relationships, open lines of communication, and trusted referral pathways — so whether a service sits under our roof or not, Islanders are connected to the right people at the right time.
No egos. No territorial healthcare.
Just collaborative care with the client at the center.
Because the best outcomes happen when everyone moves in the same direction.
Pro Sports Standards. For everyone.

Excited to have Owen on board
Welcome Owen MacWilliams to the East Coast team.
Owen brings high-level experience into the ØRKA environment. He holds his CSCS (NSCA) and a Master’s in Exercise and Sport Science—backed by time spent working across the NFL, NHL, CFL, AHL, AFL, NCAA, and U SPORTS.
That exposure matters. It shapes how he coaches.
His approach is built on three things:
evidence-based decision making, clear communication, and trust with the athlete in front of him.
No fluff. No guesswork. Just systems that transfer.
His addition raises the standard of what we deliver on the Island.
More importantly—it strengthens the environment we’re building:
one where athletes aren’t just supported…they’re challenged, educated, and developed with the same intent you’d expect at the highest level of sport.
Welcome aboard O.
