The Seaway Valley Rapids Minor Hockey Association continues to be Eastern Ontario’s trusted development pathway, and this year proves it again.

SVMHA RAPIDS SUMMER PROGRAM

We are happy to announce that we will once again be running a 10 SESSION summer program beginning on Monday July 20 for our U9, U10/11, U12/13 and U14/15 groups. A 12 SESSION program for our U16/18 will begin on Wednesday July 8. THERE WILL BE NO SESSIONS ON MONDAY AUGUST 3.

Groups:
🏒U9 - Mondays and Wednesdays 4:45 pm Benson Centre Pad 2

🏒 U10/11 - Mondays 8:45 am and Wednesdays 8:15 am Benson Centre Pad 2

🏒 U12/13 - Mondays 10:15 am and Wednesdays 9:45 am Benson Centre Pad 2

🏒 U14/15 - Mondays 11:45 am and Wednesdays 11:15 am Benson Centre Pad 2

🏒 U16 - U18 Mondays 7:00 pm and Wednesdays 5:30 pm Benson Centre Pad 1

🗓️U9 - U15 dates - July 20,22,27,29 August 5,10, 12, 17, 19, 24

🗓️U16 - U18 dates - July 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 August 5, 10, 12, 17, 19

🕑All sessions will be 90 minutes long.

Groups will be limited in numbers to ensure quality instruction for all Registration for groups will be open to the first 25 skaters that register and 4 goalies.

💰Price:
Players in groups (U9—U15) $325.00 Group (U16-18) $375.00 Goaltenders - $20.00 dollars per ice time (only 2 goalies on the ice per session).

We will accept up to 4 goalie registrations per group. A rotation will be set up for the goalies. **Goalies can register but will only be charged once registration is closed.**

Huge congratulations to 2026‑27 U16 Seaway Valley Rapid, Olivier Marsolais!

Olivier has been invited to the Ontario Summer Games in Waterloo , an exciting next step in his journey toward earning a spot on Team Ontario for the Canada Winter Games.

He’ll be suiting up for Team Black, and all of Rapids Nation is behind him.

ANYONE THAT IS THINKING ABOUT TRYING OUT FOR THE TEAM NEEDS TO REGISTER PRIOR TO SUNDAY ON THE SVMHA WEBSITE. The May 6th tryout is now at 8:15pm to 9:45pm on Benson Pad 2. Schedule on website is updated.

U12 parent meeting will be held in the MacEwan room at 7:45pm before the tryout begins.

U12AA Coach Change Announcement

Gab Cyr (2025/2026 U16 coach) will be leading the U12AA team in 2026/2027 as Head Coach!

We are happy to have him on board for this amazing group of kids and wish all of you the best of luck in tryouts.

He will see you tonight at the Civic at 5pm.
