Ontario's Oldest Highland Games! Join us for a day of family fun with a Scottish flare

The Embro Highland Games offers a wide variety of Scottish-entertainment options with admission pricing geared to families. In addition to hearing Pipe Bands perform, watching Tug-of-War and the Ontario Heavy Event Championships, there will be Highland Dancers competing for medals. There is a 5 and 10 km road race and a special 2 km race for students in elementary school is being offered again this year. Other highlights, will be our annual sheep herding demonstrations, the Highland Cattle display, Scottish clans & concessions. For children, authentic children’s Scottish crafts and outdoor games are offered at no additional charge.

Get ready for a great night of good food, great music and Scottish traditions at the Zorra Caledonian Society’s 88th St. Andrew’s Night!

📍 Embro Zorra Community Centre
🎟️ Tickets: $50 per person

This year, we’re shaking things up and moving away from the traditional formal banquet to a more relaxed Gathering & Ceilidh!

But what exactly is a ceilidh? It’s a traditional Scottish gathering filled with music, dancing, entertainment and good company — basically, a great excuse to get together and have some fun! 💃🕺🎶

Here’s what’s happening:

🕕 Doors open: 6:00–6:45 PM
🍽️ Buffet by Quehl’s Catering: 7:00 PM
🎶 Entertainment: 8:00 PM–midnight
🎻 Featuring Celtic band The Devil’s Brigade
🥁 Special performances by the Ingersoll Pipe Band and Sim School of Highland Dance

With only 250 tickets available, this is one night you won’t want to miss! Seating will be first come, first served, so gather your friends and get your tickets early.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 HELP US RESTORE THE MIGHTY MEN OF ZORRA CAIRN! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The Mighty Men of Zorra Cairn is an important part of Zorra’s Scottish heritage and a tribute to the men who helped shape our community. ❤️

The cairn is in need of some much-needed repairs, and we need to raise $9,000 to complete the restoration.

We’re asking our community, local businesses, Scottish friends and anyone who values Zorra’s history to help us preserve this special piece of our past for generations to come.
