Last night was magical.
We wrapped up the final session of Ritual & Story: Beneath the Job Title - Reclaiming Ourselves Beyond Productivity.
Over the past 6 weeks, we rested with intention. We journalled, reflected, listened to stories, shared our own, and explored symbolism to better understand our worlds. Most importantly, we questioned narratives many of us have inherited about productivity, success, and worthiness.
We laughed and cried. We experienced moments of insight, uncertainty, and deep connection. Through it all, we felt held, witnessed, and accepted.
For our final gathering, we brought together objects collected over the 6 weeks and created personal constellations. On their own, they were ordinary things: stones, feathers, leaves, and small treasures gathered along the way. But together, they became something more. They became stories, maps, reminders, and reflections of ourselves told through symbols and memory.
Before creating our constellations, we journeyed through a guided visualization from sunset into the night sky. As darkness settled, stars emerged one by one, revealing patterns only visible when viewed as a whole.
And isn't that what stories do?
A single moment may seem insignificant on its own, but with time and perspective, we begin to see the larger pattern. We discover how experiences connect and how meaning emerges from their relationships.
After lighting our constellations, we sat quietly and reflected on our journeys and the ways our stories intertwine. In that moment, we were reminded that none of us is meant to make meaning alone.
Thank you to every woman who shared this journey. Thank you for your honesty, courage, curiosity, vulnerability, wisdom, laughter, tears, and presence. It was an honour to sit in circle with you.
Ritual & Story returns Nov. 3 with a new 6-week circle: Main Character Energy: Becoming the Author of Our Own Story.
