SUMMER Camps Week 2 Wrap-Up:
Yesterday concluded our 2nd week of Volleyball and Basketball Camps and we were thrilled to host just under 50 campers.
We have also been excited about the lineup of coaches we have had for these Camps.
We even had a guest coach spend the week with us, Deng Ngor!
A big thank you to Coach G and Coach Juane for leading each camp and to our Summer Camp Sponsor Pomeroy Lodging!
Up Next: We still dont have a gym space for our August camp so a decision will be made by the end of next week on whether we can run it or not.
Coming Soon: FALL Basketball and Volleyball (NEW Program Information, opportunities and Signup)

This group from Swan City Gorgichuk is off to bigger things! These boys have been with Swan City for multiple seasons and have become standout players and role models for the players that will fill their places. Good luck to all players that are now graduating and starting a new chapter! The Swan community will always be cheering you on.

Huge thank you to Top Shelf Insulating and Grande Peaks Home Inspections for sponsoring Swan City U15 Buhler!
Swan City loves seeing local businesses invest in young athletes, giving them the opportunity to be recognized for all the hard work and sweat equity they've put in. Your support makes a real difference, and it's greatly appreciated.
Thank you again!

Weekend Recap (June 26th to 29th)
This past weekend 15 of our 17 teams concluded their Spring Club Season at the Great Canadian Shootout in Edmonton.
Congratulations to Swan City U15B Rigler Law Selects on their Silver Medal in the U15B Gold Division. The boys defeated several strong U15B programs before meeting a talented WEBA Blue in the final. Teams in the Peace Region usually occupy Bronze and Silver divisions but rarely can be competitive in Gold. Congratulations to Coach Shelby and team.
Congratulations as well to Swan City - U15G Buhler on their 1st place finish in the U15G Silver Division. The girls went 4-0 in pool play before defeating Calgary's CBA in a tough final. This team has been exceptional all season. Thank you Coach Melissa and team for all your time and effort.
Congratulations to Swan City - U15G Duncan on their 2nd Place Finish in the U15G Bronze Division. While mainly a U14 squad, this team went to 5 tournaments this season and finished no worse than 3rd in any of the tournaments only losing 3 games this club season (21-3).
Our HSG M. Gravengard went 2-2 in the U18 Gold/Silver Division. With only 2 graduating players, this squad should be loaded for the next club season.
Swan City U11 Boys had a solid tournament going 2-2 and showing huge improvements in the last 3 months.
Swan City U16B Farrell capped a 6 tournament club season with strong showings in each tournament often competing against squads that were 2yrs older.
Thank you coaches, players, parents and family members for committing to another club season!
Up next:
We have 1 final team needing to conclude their club season and Swan City - U17B Keddy is heading to Edmonton for the Swoosh Delta Classic this weekend. Joining Coach Keddy will be the Zone 8 Boys and Girls teams who are preparing for the Alberta Summer Games.
Thanks for another great club season!
