Travis vs Norm was a battle of young vs old. Norm always represents our Muay Thai program beautifully with his traditional style of kicking and clinching. Even though he's a bit older, Norm loves to compete regularly and I can trust our teammates to give him respectful rounds. Travis is one of our up and coming fighters and exemplifies great temperment and is a great training partner! Great rounds guys, I am happy to coach both of ya'll! Jahishe Return of the Dragon MA vs Eddie 519 Jiu Jitsu was a match of two fighters on a losing streak. Similar records, very different performances. Luckily, Jahishe was extremely respectful. As Eddie's former coach and the former coach of "coaches", I have to be vocal about this. This is not good. Eddie has participated in Live Sparring multiple times with no real corner. I am supposed to be refereeing the fight and I find myself giving charity cornering because I'm worried about his safety. It requires real fight experience and deep knowledge to develop people properly. Coaches please do not take your stewardship over young lives lightly. The consequences are lifelong.

I'm still here for my younger self that wanted to be world champion. Waiting for my eye surgery. Holding on to a promise I made to my coach. Dreams die when you stop breathing life into them. I've held on through all of life's trials. The reward is my defiant existence and the realization I am not coming back, I have always been here.
