At Patagonia, we appreciate that all life on earth is under threat of extinction.

As the climate crisis deepens, we see a potential, even probable end to such moments, and so we’re fighting to save them. We donate our time, services and at least 1 percent of our sales to help hundreds of grassroots organizations all over the world so that they can remain vigilant, and protect what’s irreplaceable. At the same time, we know that we risk saving a tree only to lose the forest—a livable planet. As the loss of biodiversity, arable soils, coral reefs and fresh water all accelerate, we are doing our best to address the causes, and not just symptoms, of global warming. Staying true to our core values during forty-plus years in business has helped us create a company we're proud to run and work for. Among the most direct ways we can limit ecological impacts is with goods that last for generations or can be recycled so the materials in them remain in use. Earlier this year, our team got together for a staff pottery night facilitated by the incredibly talented .

We always love a chance to get creative together and had a blast working with Micaila to create our own pottery pieces! We have loved getting to put our creations to work so far.

Nova Scotia may not have the longest routes for roped climbing, but the bouldering here is second to none. Many areas of our coastline are solid granite that provide great friction and a fun challenge for those who go out searching for one.

The Quebec Federation for Atlantic Salmon (FQSA) and the Group North Shore, in collaboration with the Foundation for Conservation of Atlantic Salmon (FCAS) and the Salmon Foundation, present the documentary "What if we listened to the salmon". This film takes us to the heart of the rivers, communities, and knowledge associated with Atlantic salmon. Through testimonials, powerful images, and different perspectives, it invites us to slow down, observe, and listen to what salmon reveal about the state of our ecosystems, our relationship with nature, and the responsibility we share.

"What if we listened to the salmon" offers a better understanding of the issues at stake, opens dialogue, and encourages concrete action to protect Atlantic salmon and the environments on which they depend.
