FORM is a hip hop training program for students looking to progress, challenge themselves, and level up their hip hop technique and foundations. From January to June, dancers will train for 3 hours each week through company classes and choreography, learning 1ā2 numbers to be performed at two performance opportunities throughout the program.
Students must be enrolled in a weekly hip hop class at a studio within the HRM, and acceptance into FORM is by audition only. The program will include both Company Members and Apprentices. Apprentices will be paired with Company Members to encourage mentorship, shared learning, and a strong sense of community. Through an āeach one, teach oneā approach, FORM aims to uphold the values of connection, knowledge-sharing, and community that hip hop was born out of.
