If you can, I'd recommend standing in front of your screen for the first part of the video and see if you can parry the punches.

Rhythm is everywhere in fencing. You can use it with your hand or with your footwork, both defensively and offensively.

Always think about it. Don't be predictable in your rhythm and use it to trick your opponents.
